No matter how you may feel today, the all the promises of God are Yes and Amen! “For no matter how many promises God has made, they are “Yes” in Christ. And so through him the “Amen” is spoken by us to the glory of God” (2nd Corinthians 1:20 NIV). To refuse to believe that your Heavenly Father wants to and has a solution for everything you can encounter is to live in denial. It’s called SIN. The Bible says: “For whatsoever is not of faith is sin” (Romans 14:23). As a part of being restored (as a joint heir to Christ) your inheritance package include all things that lead to life and godliness. “By his divine power, God has given us everything we need for living a godly life. We have received all of this by coming to know him, the one who called us to himself by means of his marvelous glory and excellence” (2nd Peter 1:3 NLT). Living a godly life is to spread love and to be a blessing to everyone you come into contact with no matter what their need is. One may say: “How can I be a blessing to someone else when I have needs myself?” Think of it as when you were a child at Christmas. Underneath the Christmas tree are many beautifully wrapped gifts with you name on them. One-by-one, you begin to open each of them. One of the gifts is peace (John 14:27) and another joy (Nehemiah 8:10). Suddenly you discover a package of prosperity (2nd Corinthians 8:9), then another with healing (Isaiah 53:4-5). Each of these gifts is listed in the Bible as promises. All these gifts belong to you. It’s up to you to believe that they are yours and to receive them. And they are more than enough to help others with their needs. Can you grasp this? Then, what are you waiting for? Open your gifts.
