The Onus is ON US

God never created man to die. Death came as a result of sin. “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Romans 6:23) “Eternal life” is translated from Greek to English by the Strong’s Concordance as: “Without beginning and end, always has been and always will be.” Through our fear of death obtained by sinning,, we create obstacles of doubt which hinders our faith in believing God has already restored us to the position we held as man in the Garden of Eden – Nothing Broken, Nothing Missing. “And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” (Matthew 13:58) Repent and then believe that God wants the best for you then receive your healing or whatever you are believing God to do in your life. You may look at yourself and wonder: “How can that be? How can I change my circumstances? Can I work 3 jobs to get enough money to pay the bills?” God is not expecting you to do nothing but BELIEVE In Him. Then act upon what you are instructed to do. Let’s look at a few scriptures.

1) “Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.” Mark 11:24 NKJV

Notice the word “believe.” If you believe that you receive whatever you pray for, you will have them. It’s simple, right? Let’s take this a step further. In the scripture before, Mark 11:23, Jesus said: “For assuredly, I say to you, whoever SAYS to this mountain, ‘Be removed and be cast into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he SAYS will be done, he will have whatever he SAYS.

Analyzing this scripture you will notice that faith requires BELIEF. Faith requires you not to DOUBT. Faith requires you to SAY something to your situation in order to receive what you believe. Basically you are writing your own ticket based on what you SAY and what you BELIEVE about what you say.

You have to LEARN to keep doubt away from what you believe in order to receive the manifested miracles God promises you. It’s what you say about it that creates the miracle.

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
And those who love it will eat its fruit. Proverbs 18:21

You speak life over your affairs when you talk it up to the good. You speak death over your affairs when you speak negative about it.

In the case of healing let’s look at a situation where Moses was interceding for his sister in law who was being critical of his assignment from God and I’ll show you what God wants you to learn when it comes to healing.

Follow these scriptures from Numbers 12. 1) Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 2) So they said, “Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?” And the LORD heard it. 3) (Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.) 9) So the anger of the LORD was aroused against them, and He departed. 10) And when the cloud departed from above the tabernacle, suddenly Miriam became leprous, as white as snow. Then Aaron turned toward Miriam, and there she was, a leper. 11) So Aaron said to Moses, “Oh, my lord! Please do not lay this sin on us, in which we have done foolishly and in which we have sinned. 12) “Please do not let her be as one dead, whose flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother’s womb!” 13) And Moses H4872 cried H6817 unto the LORD, H3068 saying, H559 Heal H7495 her now, O God, H410 I beseech thee.

If you go to the Book of Numbers and read Chapter 12, you can see sin, forgiveness, compassion, anger and a lot of other emotions intertwined in this story. In the case of receiving healing for you or someone else, remember it is God who does the healing. You must petition the Lord for the healing. There must be a great desire within your heart, a deep conviction that God can and will meet you at your point of need in order for you to receive it. Let’s look closer at verse 13. Moses, who was very humble forgave Miriam and Aaron and cried out to God to heal Miriam. Looking at the references from the Strong’s Concordance for the word “cried” we see that it can be translated “to cry, cry out (for help) to cry, cry out (in distress or need). My wife referred to this cry as something similar to hearing your child cry out if he was in danger. Somewhere, somehow, the mother gets supernatural powers to save him from all harm and danger.

The second word is “Heal” God is known as the Great Physician, a healer (of men). He can and will heal you of individual distresses or of national hurts when you call upon Him.

Then we have the word “Beseech” which is translated to make urgent appeal. When you put it all together, the compassion of Christ within Moses forgave Miriam and immediately sought God with a force as great as the supernatural force a mother has to rescue her child in danger and stopped God in his tracts to request healing for Miriam.

He sent His word and healed them,
And delivered them from their destructions. Psalms 107:20

You have this ability to connect with God for your healing.
When you speak, especially in prayer, a creative force of power built within the spoken WORD dispatches the angelic forces to go bring to pass those things that you say. What are you saying about your (mountains) situations?

Knowing the character of God, one can believe that God does want you healed. The onus is ON US to believe.
