When using faith to believe God for something, don’t think about the things you desire to receive with your reasoning faculties. Belief is in another dimension accessed through a knowing that it’s not with your natural ability that things get done. It is however, when you turn over your control to do it on your own and release those things that you desire to the higher spiritual order, in the spiritual dimension where faith in God operates, that things get done. It’s like delegating your authority. When you are the boss and tell someone who you employ to take care of something, your knowing that the job will get done is in that person’s capabilities to accomplish the task based upon the authority and the skills that person has to get it done. The same is with faith.
“Will any one of you who has a servant plowing or keeping sheep say to him when he has come in from the field, ‘Come at once and recline at table’? Will he not rather say to him, ‘Prepare supper for me, and dress properly, and serve me while I eat and drink, and afterward you will eat and drink’? Does he thank the servant because he did what was commanded? Luke 17:7-9 ESV
Faith is that servant that you employ. Once you release what you desire in prayer, you have to move out of the way of your own ability to allow the supernatural to accomplish the task. Then, in God’s timing that things get done. Wait patiently, prayerfully and thankfully for it and it will surely come.
