“See, I am sending an angel before you to protect you on your journey and lead you safely to the place I have prepared for you. Pay close attention to him, and obey his instructions. Do not rebel against him, for he is my representative, and he will not forgive your rebellion. But if you are careful to obey him, following all my instructions, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and I will oppose those who oppose you” Exodus 23:20-22 NLT)
From this scripture we see that the job of an angel is:
To protect you on your journey
To lead you safely to the place God has prepared for you.
And to carry out words that are spoken. Immature Christians have a guardian over their words because we speak things that we see with our natural eyes instead of looking at the circumstances in our lives from the spiritual, which is where the real power to change things exist.
Now before faith came, we were confined under the law, kept under restraint until faith should be revealed. So that the law was our custodian until Christ came, that we might be justified by faith. But now that faith has come, we are no longer under a custodian; Galatians 3:23-25 RSV
Instead of adjusting our thoughts and words to the new way Jesus Christ brought us by faith, we continue the downward spiral towards death speaking words of defeat, doubt and unbelief that lines up with the curse Adam brought about when he disobeyed God in the Garden of Eden.
When Lucifer was cast down from Heaven, he brought with him 1/3rd of the Angels with him who now do his bidding here on earth enforcing the contrasting goodness of God because of the iniquity found in him. The other 2/3rds of the Angelic forces are enforcing those words spoken by faith in God’s Word. With that said, which force are you employing to shape your present day world? Whether you speak doubt and unbelief or faith, the angels will make this scripture a reality in every area of your life.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;
It shall not return to Me void,
But it shall accomplish what I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it. Isaiah 55-11 NKJV
The Bible not only tells us to renew our minds but also with that renewed mind, call things that don’t currently exist in this physical world the way you want them to be.
Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. Romans 12:2 NLT
If God who gives life to the dead and calls into being things that were not, (Romans 4:17) then we having that same spirit of faith, we also believe and therefore speak (2nd Corinthians 4:13).
