In my travels I have learned that much of my success has not come from my own efforts as much as it has come from my non-efforts to try to do things on my own but to give it to God and allow Him to do things for me in His time for my benefit. Success in receiving something from God comes when you release what it is that you want to Him in Prayer. Scripture says in 1st Peter 5:7 to “Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you.” NLT Many people try to do God’s job when their only responsibility is to trust that God has your best interests in mind and He will do right by you.
Another scripture that comes to mind is Mark 11:22 which states: Then Jesus said to the disciples, “Have faith in God.” NLT I was reminded yesterday that it is God who does the work. Whether it’s for someone to receive healing, deliverance, salvation or just a helping hand through challenging financial times, it is God who does the work. Our job is to think in line with all the goodness that a father can bestow upon their child to help them out of that situation, then believe that your Father, God can and is willing to come to your rescue to help His children overcome all the powers of the enemy. Are you not sure that you are a child of God? Salvation or confessing the Lord Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior admits you into the Kingdom of God (See Romans 10:8-17, Acts 2:21).
Whenever you come across a scripture in the Bible, it represents a promise that God has made to you as a part of your inheritance. I know that it sounds too good to be true, right? Let God be true and every man a liar (Romans 3:4). One of the reasons why it hasn’t come true in your life is because you don’t believe anything good can happen to you. I want to walk you through a scripture until it manifests in your life. You pick the area and it doesn’t matter if it’s healing, finances, peace in your house or whatever you need our Lord Jesus to do for you. You find the scripture and share it with me and I will show you how to receive the manifestation of that scripture in your life.
One of the keys to receiving the manifestations of any of the promises made to you in the Bible is to know that in any situation that we encounter, trust that God see, knows and cares about our outcome in that situation. Our “job” is to hand over the problem, and what we believe the outcome to be. Once it is done, then the only thing left to do is to worship God with thanksgiving because He solved your problem. Because we can’t really see God doing the work, we have to trust Him. To believe by faith that God is not sleeping on the job. Our job is to: Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Philippians 4:6 NLT
How do you know that God has heard you and has answered your requests?
Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:7 NLT. It’s really that simple.
One important part of your trust and/or belief requires a little work on your part. You have to take the promised scripture and meditate on it (Joshua 1:9) Take that scripture and began to re-think your situation with you having favorable results as the outcome. As you begin to see visions of great things happening in your life, God will transform you until you get a knowing within yourself that it’s yours. (Romans 12:2)
