Living the Word of God

Here’s Something to build your faith on

Just for a moment, if not for today, think of yourself as having the ability and the authority to change things in your life and all the lives your heart goes out towards.

I’m going to let you in on a little secret – YOU DO!

Let me show you three (3) scriptures that will prove your authority.

As God appointed Jesus heir of all things.

[But] in the last of these days, He has spoken to us in the person of a Son Whom He appointed Heir and lawful Owner of all things, also by and through Whom He created the worlds and the reaches of space and the ages of time [He made, produced, built, operated, and arranged them in order]. (Heb 1:2 AMP).

When you got saved or received your salvation, you became a joint heir (co-owner) of all things.

And if we are [His] children, then we are [His] heirs also: heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ [sharing His inheritance with him]; only we must share his suffering if we are to share His glory (Rom 8:17 AMP).

The task at hand simply becomes a renewing of your mind to accept your authority as co-owner and not as a slave to your circumstances.

Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and it’s a new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His site for you].

He (Jesus) died on the cross to empower you to take charge.

I tell you the truth anyone who has faith in me will do what I have been doing. He will do even greater things than these because I am going to the father John 14:12 NIV.

Now ask yourself, are you mature enough to handle the responsibilities given to you or are you still in your infant stages whereby you need a guardian to help you make decisions?
