Living the Word of God

Have Faith In God

Have faith in God. (Mark 11:22) Simple enough, right?

How hard it is to trust someone you can’t see or touch seeing that God is a Spirit.(John 4:24)

There’s a difference in the spiritual world and the physical world.

In the physical world, seeing, hearing, touching, tasting and smelling dominates our being and controls our emotions. Your basis for trust lies with what you derive from your senses. In itself, the physical world is destructive, misleading and limited in power. Did you ever get mad enough that you wanted to destroy someone or something? Have you ever heard hearsay and reacted to it? How about when you found out it wasn’t true, how did it make you feel? If you are controlled by the physical world you are limited to what comes through your five physical senses.

On the other hand, we were created in His image, after His own likeness (Gen 1:26)

When the Lord God made the heavens and the earth, He spoke it into existence. And God said:…(Gen 1:3)

If that is how to harness the power in the spiritual world, wouldn’t it make sense to speak right words?

When you say the same things to your situation(s) as it is written in the Bible, having faith in the Word of God you, will get the same results.

God is not a man, so he does not lie. He is not human, so he does not change his mind. Has he ever spoken and failed to act? Has he ever promised and not carried it through? (Num 23:19 NLT)

The key to the spiritual world is not only saying the right words, but believing it’s possible. With God, all things are possible. (Math 19:26) Good or bad you have what you say.
